The Jacob J. and Anne B. Walter Memorial Living Center was built in 1998 and is licensed as a 26-bed personal care boarding home by the State of Colorado. The Living Center provides the best in alternative housing for senior adults who need help with activities of daily living, but do not need the skilled medical care provided in a nursing home. The Living Center promotes maximum independence for each resident and encourages the involvement of family, neighbors and friends. The Living Center is designed to allow local residents to continue living in their community. The Living Center allows residents an independent lifestyle while enjoying the peace of mind that comes from knowing staff is available if and when you need them, 24 hours a day. In your living unit you will enjoy privacy and still be able to socialize with your neighbors and friends for meals in the beautiful dining room. Planned activities will include: exercise classes, shopping trips, cards and games, crafts, music programs and other special events at the Living Center. The ALC is located at 900 Pine Street.
