This 32 bed county-owned long term care facility built in 1962 strives to provide quality health care services in a safe, caring environment. There are 12 private and 10 semi-private rooms in this intermediate care nursing home. Creative professionals take a personal interest in helping each resident function at their highest level of independence.

 

Our staff consists of:

Medical Director is a physician who is responsible for the overall coordination of medical care in the nursing home.

Administrator, licensed in the state, is responsible to the governing body for planning, organizing, developing, and controlling the operations of the facility and assures the facility and staff will comply with all regulations.

Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing, both Registered Nurses, supervise nursing staff, direct the implementation of physician orders, implement policy and procedures and services to assure each resident’s physical and emotional needs are met.

Charge Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses, administer medications, provide treatments, assess and monitor resident conditions and contact physicians for orders.

Certified Nurse Assistants provide direct personal cares with bathing, dressing, eating and walking in a caring attitude and safe manner.

Restorative Certified Nurses Assistant oversees functional assessments and works with the therapists to develop and implement a restorative plan of care for each resident.

Social Services coordinates admissions, assists with financial arrangements, community resources, schedules appointments and transportation, addresses family concerns and resident’s rights.

Activity Director Certified organizes and implements activities and events that meet the needs of the residents and coordinates the Volunteer program.

Certified Dietary Manager supervises the functions of the food service department to assure meals are prepared safely within State and Federal regulations, completes Resident nutritional assessments and monitors nutritional needs, and coordinates menus with input from the residents and approved by the consulting Dietician.

Dietary Staff prepare nutritious, attractive, well balanced meals served in a pleasant environment.

Housekeeping staff diligently clean the entire building on a daily basis giving the environment a pleasing atmosphere.

Laundry staff cares for the personal clothing of the residents as well as the linens for the facility.

 

Upgrades to the physical plant include window replacement, dining room remodel, heating and air conditioning, electrical-outlets and lighting, 2 whirlpool tubs and remodeled nurse’s desk.

Payment sources accepted are Private Pay, Long Term Insurance and Medicaid.
