PHYSICAL THERAPY

Physical Therapy provides services to patients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease or other causes. Physical Therapy examines each patient and develops a plan of care using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability. Physical Therapy also works with individuals to prevent the loss of mobility by developing fitness and wellness oriented programs to promote healthier and more active lifestyles.
Sedgwick County Health Center Physical Therapy department provides rehabilitative care for Northeast Colorado and Southwest Nebraska by treating patients at our outpatient clinic, hospital and nursing home. We also provide physical therapy services for Northeast Plains Home Health Care. Free fitness center assessments are available along with free sports screenings for area athletes.
